Overview

Southeast Asia (SEA) is located in southeastern Asia, including the Indochinese Peninsula and the Malay Archipelago. The Indochinese Peninsula is named after its location south of China, and the slender southern part is called the Malay Peninsula. The Malay Archipelago is scattered in the vast waters between the Pacific and Indian Oceans, and is the largest archipelago in the world, with over 20000 islands belonging to countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, East Timor, Brunei, and the Philippines.
