Introduction to Saudi IECEE Certification

The Saudi Arabian Standards Organization has implemented new regulations for mandatory IECEE certification since February 15, 2018. The new regulations require that products under control not only need to obtain the product conformity certificate SC required for customs clearance, but traders also need to apply for and obtain the IECEE certificate in advance in order for the goods to be cleared smoothly by Saudi customs.

1. The product and packaging must be printed with the country of origin: Made in China, MADE IN CHINA (note the wording).

2. If the product is suitable for AC power, the frequency includes 60Hz; For example: 220-240V~50/60Hz or AC220-240V 60Hz.

3. The product manual and warning language must have both English and Arabic versions

4. Validity period: one year/three years.
